The lawsuit alleges Google, the maker of the Android smartphone set up its mobile software in a way that enriched its advertising empire and deceived owners about their personal privacy. Arizona consumer-protection laws prohibit companies from misrepresenting their business practices. When users try to opt out, Google’s is continuing to find misleading ways to obtain information and use it for profit.
