Arizona AG sued Google

Arizona AG sued Google alleging the tech giant violated its users’ privacy by collecting info on their whereabouts even if users had turned off digital tracking.  The lawsuit alleges Google, the maker of the Android smartphone set up its mobile software in a way that enriched its advertising empire and deceived owners about their personal privacy. Arizona consumer-protection laws prohibit companies from misrepresenting their business practices. When users try to opt out, Google’s is continuing to find misleading ways to obtain information and use it for profit.
